Voices For Justice: An evening of Art, Hope, and Resilience

Join us for our first ever virtual fundraiser, Voices for Justice: An evening of Art, Hope, and Resilience. This event is our answer to the silence that shrouds issues like mass incarceration, criminal justice disparities, and the impact of COVID-19 on the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated. Voices for Justice is about speaking truth to power through a blend of spoken word pieces— both poems and personal stories that speak to the need for justice, liberation, and healing in our families and communities. We'll be spotlighting a range of community-based voices, including local poets, performers, R&R clients, staff, and partners. This is a virtual fundraiser to raise money for Root & Rebound's work on the frontlines. We're supporting families and people who are impacted by mass incarceration or going through the reentry process at this time by helping them overcome barriers to economic wellness and protecting their civil rights. As the COVID-19 pandemic has progressed, we have increased our Community Support Fund to provide for basic necessities of over 500 people. We hope you'll join us for this night of resilience — your support is needed now more than ever!
